Minergy embraces being a responsible corporate citizen. To this end the company is conscious and respectful and will endeavour to involve the community in the immediate and greater surrounding area as much as possible.

Corporate Responsibility Policy
Since its inception Minergy has contributed significantly to the development of communities around the mining operations in areas of economic development, education, arts, sports, and healthcare. The purpose of the Company’s Corporate Responsibility Policy is to formalise the corporate social responsibilities (CSR) activities at Minergy in line with the Company’s strategic intent, and relevant mining legislation. As mentioned above, Minergy is committed to being a socially responsible company, having clear corporate values, recognising the interest of others and communities, being transparent and following best corporate governance practices. The Company thus takes a broader view of its role in the society and therefore realises the importance of socio-economic development, ethics, safety, health and environmental management as outlined in the policy.
